I have many thoughts to share with the world on the seemingly everlasting NBA lockout. This NBA lockout is really getting basketball fans around the globe furious. Every week it seems like they come out with a new agreement that they think they are going to agree on but both sides tend to disagree. After 20 meetings and a longtime (ever since last season ended) you would think they would’ve come down to a decision on what to do.
I don’t understand how they would waste so much time and money on arguing about a deal that could just be settled in a simple one-hour meeting that everyone could agree upon. I was just a 50-50 split between owners and the players. Different inside from many Different inside sources I’m hearing that they are going to try and do this but if the players do not accept the owners will take a much larger percentage in the next deal they propose.
Here is David Stern the NBA Commissioner and the assistant NBA commissioner talking about what is going on with the latest news on the NBA lockout.
If you are even average NBA fan then you must be furious at this video and what the horrible NBA Commissioner David Stern had to say about the situation. David Stern in my opinion is a horrific commissioner and he has almost no intention on resolving the NBA lockout issues! First off, he does not give the reporters any useful information on what is going on and he answers the questions very vaguely. Second of all he thinks that this is a subject that we can just in his words, “take a good night sleep and try the next day to resolve the issues on the lockout.”
The NBA lockout is something that we cannot just forget about it and try the next day as David Stern stated. The NBA lockout is something that we need to fix right now to get the season underway. I do not think I can wait another week without the NBA lockout being resolved let’s just hope there is a review season at this point!
